Carols in the Red Lion. Tuesday 17th December

Our annual carol evening in the village pub.  Come and enjoy our wonderful village atmosphere with friends old and new and partake of some of Joan's drinks whilst you sing carols old and new... all conducted by the local Rector, Revd Steve Willson. Not forgetting mince pies and the usual attempt at singing the Twelve Days of Christmas.  Always best left towards the end!! Starts at about 7pm and finishes at...well you'll have to guess! Remembrance Sunday

The Harvest Festival Service will be on 3 October at 10.30, followed by coffee and cake. Harvest gifts may be brought along on the day but should be of non-perishable items that we can place in our Foodbank box for delivery to the Welshpool Foodbank folk.

Castle Coffee Morning

Paul Sweeting will talk about metal detection and show some of the things he has found.  He will also demonstrate POI spinning which originated with the Maori’s in New Zealand, and involves swinging clubs or sometimes fire using the strength of your arms. Fascinating to watch.
